Nationalism

Nationalism is when someone has pride in their country and they would fight for the beliefs of their country. Nationalism was a big cause of WWI, because each nation thought they were better that each other. The people’s overconfidence came from the press.
Nationalism assured people of the moral rectitude of their nation. It also demonized the rival country. Nationalism won the people on their side the population of the country to the goals of the country and when the goals of the country were in jeapordy the citizens of the nation were willing to fight to preserve and protect thos goals. Nationalism showed the love for their country and their commitment.
